Native American Northern California Ancient Stone Pestle Amulet

Here we have an early Native American pestle fashioned from a very dense and heavy type of stone. This piece measures about 3 1/4" long and about 1 1/2" thick at it's thickest point. It weighs 6 1/2 ounces. It has a hole drilled at one end so it was possibly worn. Wear at the other end from pounding, we assume. This piece was found in Northern California, probably near the Bay Area. Shipping weight, well packed, is under 1 lb. Insurance has been added to the shipping cost as per Ebay's mandate.
